About Synthia Kucner

Attorney Synthia Kucner, who works for the United States Department of Agriculture in the area of equal employment opportunity contract law, makes time in her schedule when away from the office for a variety of charitable and extracurricular pursuits. Committed to helping members of her community, Kucner has given her time and energy to the service initiative Clothes Closet, and she has served as a court-appointed special advocate for children in foster care. Active in education as well, she has volunteered her time with the local parent-teacher association and has aided the Girl Scout troop in her neighborhood. To unwind, Synthia Kucner likes to exercise, travel, read, and spend time with her family.

Synthia Kucner earned a bachelor of arts in English education at the University of Maryland before returning for a master of arts in English and rhetoric. She also holds a master of science in educational leadership from Johns Hopkins University. She completed her legal studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she studied as a Law Faculty Scholar and edited the University of Baltimore Law Review.
